Light
Your projector or screen can only do so much and they can easily be compromised by external light. Since you may not always want to watch Netflix at night, you need to ensure the room is as close to being totally dark as possible.

Privacy
Having a room that will be interrupted won’t do. There are few things more frustrating than having your cinema experience disrupted by a housemate or guest. So, ensure that the room you choose is away from shared living spaces and free from potential distractions.
